Job Opportunity: Qualified Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Permanency Team in Harrow Council.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as a Supervising Social Worker, providing guidance and support to foster carers.
  • Train and support foster carers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Complete Form F assessments or Kinship care Assessments, utilizing your expertise to make informed decisions.
  • Have experience of foster care provisions, either through an agency or local authority capacity.
Preferred Experience:
  • Be experienced and knowledgeable in completing Connected/Kinship/Special Guardianship assessments, Post Special Guardianship support, stepparent Adoption, and Private Fostering assessments.

Minimum Requirements:
  • SWE Registration
  • 1 year post-qualifying experience within the UK
