Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers involved in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for automotive applications, including chassis, suspension, and body systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, establish project scopes, and define deliverables.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving technical challenges and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate delays and ensure project success.
  • Manage client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and fostering long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in engineering management roles within the automotive industry, with a focus on mechanical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanical systems, including chassis, suspension, and body systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, having successfully managed projects from conception to completion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges and project risks.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and project-related activities.
