Job Description

Business Analyst (MDM) Role

At 83zero, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in establishing an MDM capability that enables our clients to clean and synchronize data across multiple enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in strategic projects to understand problem landscapes and create digital solutions for new clients or domains.
  • Provide business strategy support, assist in client engagements, and contribute to business development activities such as answering RFPs.
  • Join cross-functional development squads, supporting backlog management, sprint planning, and continuous discovery processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Master Data Management, with a track record of implementing MDM solutions that improve data quality and synchronization across enterprise systems.
  • Background in the UK water utilities industry is a plus, offering valuable insights into the sector's specific challenges.
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, focusing on delivering actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks, including Scrum, sprint planning, and backlog management.
  • Proficiency in writing user stories, performing user acceptance testing, and facilitating user feedback loops.
  • Ability to understand and support technical discussions related to data architecture, process mapping, and domain-specific analysis.
