Job Overview
The primary objective of this position is to facilitate the provision of exceptional clinical services for patients by ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available at the appropriate locations. Under the supervision of the Hub Coordinator, the individual in this role will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, replenishment, refueling, and proper positioning of all vehicles. Utilizing a handheld device to track and document completed tasks (Pro-Cloud), the incumbent will provide real-time data to optimize vehicle utilization. Additionally, the role involves packing consumables into designated pouches as needed. It is essential to verify that the vehicle and its equipment are operationally sound, which includes conducting routine inspections, replacing items, arranging for servicing, and ensuring that the vehicle is stocked with the necessary equipment and supplies. Furthermore, the individual will ensure that vehicles undergo thorough cleaning in accordance with established service schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ambulances to meet the established standards for operational readiness.
- Plan and organize the preparation of ambulances to adhere to strict timelines and other operational requirements.
- Work at various remote and satellite locations as necessary.
- Collect and transport vehicles between different sites to provide support as required.
- Visit healthcare facilities to retrieve equipment to guarantee availability for operational teams.

Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Essential
- Valid UK Driving Licence with a full manual driving capability (no more than 3 penalty points).
- Provisional C1 category on driving licence valid within the UK (must be willing to obtain full C1 category within 12 months of employment).
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
Desirable
- C1 category on driving licence.
- GCSE English level 4 or equivalent educational qualification.
- Willingness to undertake any necessary training as required by the organization.
Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
- Previous experience in cleaning roles.
- Familiarity with inventory management and stock checking.
- Experience in a public service or customer service environment.
