Production Team Leader Opportunity

Recruit4Staff is pleased to represent a leading food production company in their search for a Production Team Leader to work in their facility in Smethwick.

The successful Production Team Leader will be offered:

  • A competitive salary ranging from £28,000 - £30,000, depending on experience
  • A days-based position, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5pm, with a 4pm finish on Fridays
  • A permanent position with an ever-growing business
  • A statutory pension scheme
  • A monthly bonus based on KPI achievements
The Role

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for your assigned area, staff, and equipment within a busy food production environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking responsibility for daily production issues to ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost
  • Aiming to achieve daily production targets
  • Developing a culture of continuous improvement for quality and service
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and housekeeping
  • Driving and achieving daily production plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven Team Leader/Supervisory experience within a food production environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to solve any issues that may arise
