Modus Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team based in the UK.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring high food quality standards and consistency in production before products enter the market. You will play a critical role in maintaining the exceptional reputation of our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and preventing defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough tests to identify and address any defects with food products, ensuring quality is maintained and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage supplier approval processes to ensure only high-quality ingredients are used.
  • Execute mock recalls and traceability exercises to ensure preparedness and compliance.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of testing and compliance procedures.
  • Train and mentor QA technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to resolve any quality issues and ensure a seamless workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards at all times.
  • Perform internal audits of the Quality Management System to ensure it is functioning effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with experience in the food industry. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
