About the Role

The Estates & Facilities department at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Housekeeper. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the environment in accordance with the National Specification of Cleanliness 2007 or equivalent and to the agreed work schedules.
  • Maintain and replenish stocks of consumable items used within the department, paper hand towels, soap, in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Adhere to all aspects of Infection Control in all areas of work, including the use of colour coded equipment to ensure there is no spread of infection.
  • Follow local procedures for reporting areas cleaned and highlighting issues which have prevented duties being carried out.
  • Undertake enhanced cleaning duties under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor.
