Role Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare theatre lists as required.
  • Accurately input patient data into IT systems.
  • Ensure patient care environments are safe and suitable.
  • Safeguard the handling of medications and controlled substances.
Required Skills and Experience
  • First level Registered Nurse or HCPC registered ODP.
  • SFA qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Post-registration education in a relevant specialty, or a Degree in Healthcare, or equivalent experience of 5+ years.
  • Proficient Scrub Nurse with experience in various surgical specialties.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork in a dynamic environment.
  • Patient-centered mindset.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Outlook and web-based reporting systems.
  • Encourage a culture of professionalism and teamwork.
  • Exhibit honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in the workplace.
