Performance Evaluation: Establish KPIs and performance indicators to monitor operational effectiveness, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and promote ongoing optimization.

Risk Assessment: Recognize potential risks in the import process and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the secure and efficient transportation of goods.

Management of Designated Key Accounts

Account Expansion: Explore opportunities to grow business with existing clients, identifying avenues for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new services to meet their evolving needs.

Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of shipping services and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.

Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze key account performance metrics, such as volume, revenue, and profitability, to assess account health, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.

Risk Mitigation: Identify potential challenges in the customer's shipping process and develop proactive strategies to address them, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation of goods.

Customer Representation: Serve as a customer advocate within the organization, representing client interests and ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Continuous Development: Lead initiatives for process improvement to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction, collaborating with internal stakeholders to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Market Awareness: Remain updated on market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

· Comprehensive understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, INCO terms, and import documentation requirements.

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Commercially astute and business-minded.

· Proficient in quoting and negotiating with origin agents.

· Capable of consolidating various LCL bookings.

· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to enhance operations.

· Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing relationships with ocean carriers and other external partners.

· Proficient in logistics software and tools.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and challenges.

· Extensive knowledge and experience of ocean import processes with strong expertise in LCL and FCL.

· Familiarity with the CDS system.

· Ability to meet deadlines with precision.

· High level of computer literacy.
