Key Responsibilities:
  1. Promote a culture of inclusion and acceptance among students
  2. Support pupils' individual needs while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment
  3. Develop and implement educational policies and programs that align with the school's mission
  4. Ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures and policies
  5. Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff
  6. Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement
  7. Lead whole-staff and subject meetings, overseeing CPD and induction for the team
  8. Other responsibilities include pastoral care, behaviour management, curriculum planning, timetable construction, data analysis, and assessment
  9. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community
  10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards
Requirements:
  1. Recent experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a passion for education and a desire to undertake the NPQH
  3. Degree-qualified in Education or a relevant subject
  4. At least 5 years of teaching experience, with strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others
  5. Good numeracy and literacy skills
