We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Child and Family Practitioner. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS), you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide evidence-based psychological therapies and support.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver systemic family interventions to children and young people with mental health problems.
- Work collaboratively with families to identify and address their mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote positive mental health outcomes.
- Provide training and education to families on mental health topics and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.
- Professional qualification in teaching, nursing, social work, AHP, counselling, or within a psychological therapy.
- Experience of working in a children and young people's mental health service.
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding and the promotion of welfare in children and young people.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other associated IT packages.
- Ability to work under supervision and make good use of the supervisory process for personal and clinical development.
