About the Role

Russell Taylor Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in a fantastic opportunity for a Laboratory testing individual with physical/mechanical testing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, test, and report on materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Conduct sample preparation, including cutting and testing, and report findings to clients and customers.
  • Perform impact testing and report results.
  • Conduct tensile testing and fastener testing.
  • Undertake weld sample bend tests to specification.
  • Perform proof load testing.
  • Support the technical operation of the laboratory.
  • Maintain accurate records of observations.
Requirements
  • Education to degree or HNC standards or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with physical/mechanical testing is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
