Contract Management Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Contract Management and Performance Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Energy from Waste Contract, ensuring best value and delivering high-quality outcomes for Lincolnshire County Council.
You will work closely with stakeholders, including contractors and suppliers, to review and liaise on ongoing updates and revisions. Your expertise will be essential in advising and making recommendations on operational and financial issues concerning the waste service.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of service area policy, including health and safety, and work with our Commercial teams to develop strong networks across the Council. This will enable you to make a significant impact on our waste management services.
About YouWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can form and develop long-term relationships with internal and external partners. Your excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills will be crucial in recreating the Energy from Waste Contract.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to think creatively to maximise return on investment. We celebrate diversity and encourage innovative approaches, and you will be fully supported and recognised for your achievements.
About the TeamOur team is close-knit and collaborative, with a range of skills and experience. You will be welcomed and supported, with autonomy and ownership in your role. We don't micromanage, and your opinions will be valued and listened to.
This is a hybrid role, based in the Energy from Waste Facility at North Hykeham. You will work closely with a diverse team, attending meetings with contractors and suppliers as part of the contract management function.
