About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Asset Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the analysis of preferred financing solutions for individual assets and portfolios, as well as managing regional development teams in project procurement and contracting strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement financing strategies for solar energy projects, including project-level and corporate-level debt, asset acquisitions, and divestments.
  2. Lead regional development teams in project procurement and contracting strategy to ensure bankable solutions and identify key deal issues and areas of exposure.
  3. Negotiate with PPA teams to ensure bankable project offerings in competitive tender processes.
  4. Manage competitive financing processes from RfP stage to Financial Close, through to conditions discharge.
  5. Analyze and implement project-specific hedging requirements, including FX/Inflation/IRS products.
  6. Scope and manage required project advisors in conjunction with cross-functional support.
  7. Review and analyze Senior Level Financing documentation.
  8. Produce and review required Information Memorandums and Internal Approval papers.
  9. Establish a collaborative relationship with LSbp lenders for additional ancillary services required of Senior Project Financing.
  10. Lead the negotiation process on competitive financing processes from RfP stage to Financial Close.
  11. Review and analyze financing agreements and guarantee structures.
  12. Establish a collaborative relationship with LSbp core lender group.
Acquisitions and Divestments
  1. Analyze asset valuation.
  2. Implement asset optimization in preparation for divestment.
  3. Support investor due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors where required.
  4. Support and negotiate asset acquisition/sale price discussions.
  5. Review and analyze Share and Purchase Agreements, including warranty and indemnity packages.
Requirements
  1. Relevant experience preferably with a lender/Investor active in the infrastructure and energy finance space internationally, or with an IPP/vertically integrated developer.
  2. Problem-solving and proactive attitude.
  3. Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  4. Able to work efficiently and effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  5. Fluency in English is essential.
