Job Summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical and instrumentation equipment to identify and address potential issues.
  • Carry out non-routine maintenance repairs and troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation problems.
  • Conduct routine servicing of process control instrumentation equipment, including transmitters, controllers, and analysers.
  • Assist with vendor-specified routine maintenance and ensure all site services are in good working order.
  • Respond to 24-hour call-outs and provide advice on plant breakdowns outside normal working hours.
  • Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assist other technicians and operational staff as needed, demonstrating a general understanding of process, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Carry out equipment isolations to ensure safe maintenance practices.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new plant facilities.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of maintenance experience on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Possess an instrument qualification (apprenticeship or NVQ level 3) with a good working knowledge of electrical systems.

Competencies

  • Ability to plan and prioritize daily activities to ensure safe and efficient system operation.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to exchange knowledge and collaborate with all levels of management and commercial partners.
