**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Spencer - Richardson. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial administrative support and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the workflow of all documentation through the purchase ledger process, ensuring compliance with company procedures
* Input purchase invoices and staff expenses into Sage 50 Accounts, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
* Reconcile monthly supplier statements, investigating any variances identified
* Maintain a high level of control and e-filing for all financial documents
* Manage the Accounts Mailbox and resolve creditor queries via email or telephone
* Process weekly subcontractor runs and upload to Sage
* Verify subcontractor records and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
* Distribute monthly project cost reports to Contract Managers
* Regularly audit nominal codes to ensure correct allocation
* Maintain the Asset Register and Depreciation Accounts
* Assist with sales ledger invoicing and payment run processing as required
**Requirements**
* Working knowledge of CIS and Domestic Reverse Charge
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office
