About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Head of Sales and Business Development to join our team at Aramark UK. As a key member of our senior team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities in the stadium and events sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve commercial targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage all non-event day sales activities for our stadium, including coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Recruit and manage a team of sales and event planning professionals to support the sales function.
  • Create and implement a launch strategy for non-match day business, including marketing and promotional activities.
  • Host site visits and familiarization trips, attend networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions to build relationships and secure new business.
  • Oversight of dedicated marketing budget for the stadium, including development and creation of event marketing collateral.
  • Work with key partners to negotiate with external promoters and partners to bring new business to the Fan Plaza.
  • Liaise with our marketing and sponsorship team to maximize Aramark's designated rights as a Founding Partner and the club's Destination Partner.
  • Network, build, and maintain relationships with a view to securing new business and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a successful and experienced team to achieve business goals.
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and confirmed business on the books.
  • Provide regular financial and activity-based sales reports to the F&B Experience Director and our senior commercial team.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Always promote a professional image of our stadium and Aramark UK both internally and externally.
  • Lead a safe and hygienic operation, complying with all Company and legislative requirements, driving excellence in safety performance.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience within the hospitality/hotel/venue sales industry at a management level.
  • Experience operating at a management level ideally in a hotel or stadium and entertainment venue.
  • Commercially aware, keyed into changes within the industry with a proven ability to develop new business, increase revenue, and maximize yield performance.
  • Ability to share passion for our business with our clients, to communicate a vision, and build meaningful, long-term relationships.
  • A passion for food, excellence in customer service, and a willingness to challenge in the interest of delivering improvements across all areas of our business.
  • Competent in developing budgets, delivering accurate monthly sales forecasts, and managing costs.
