Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Weston-super-Mare (just off M5)
Job Type: Contract
Salary: £110 - £160 per day
About the Role:
We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team at a secondary school in Weston-super-Mare. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring the smooth operation of classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lessons, maintaining a safe and respectful environment
- Implement lesson plans and activities as directed by the regular teacher
- Monitor student behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
- Contribute to the development of a positive school culture
Requirements:
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style
- Experience working with students aged 11-16
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
