Primary School Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing cover for Primary Schools in Weston and North Somerset.
Key Responsibilities:- Active supervision of work, giving students clear instructions to remain on task and responding to any queries
- Communicate effectively with students to keep them engaged in cover lessons
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies, promoting positive behaviour
- Display effective organisational and time management skills and the ability to be highly flexible in a busy school environment
- Work in conjunction with other staff members to get the best out of the students
- Report back to the teacher as and when required
- Teaching qualifications are not necessarily essential but we do ideally need someone who has vast amounts of experience working in schools
- Confident in teaching across Primary year groups
- Knowledgeable of the curriculum and able to deliver pre-planned lessons with ease
- Flexible working opportunities
