Job Title: Quality Assurance Administrator

JJ Foodservice is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Administrator to join our QHSE Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our Health & Safety, Quality, Food Safety, and Environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and support a continuous improvement culture based on Food Safety and Quality principles across all our sites.
  • Conduct site inspections/audits, generating detailed reports for management review, and ensure compliance with company, HSE, and Quality standards.
  • Manage administrative duties related to customer complaints, accident reports, Halal certification, training needs/records, investigation minutes, and supplier information, ensuring records are accurate and updated.
  • Evaluate and inspect new products to ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Analyze product and process non-conformances, providing recommendations for corrective actions, including necessary modifications.
Requirements:
  • An honours degree in Food Science, Life Science, Health & Safety, or a closely related field, and/or a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a comparable role.
  • A people-focused individual who is passionate about safety culture and behaviours.
  • Ability to query and analyze data.
  • Thoroughness and accuracy in all duties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.
  • Proactive problem-solving capability, acting decisively.
  • Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Authoritative decision-making after appropriate consideration.
  • Effective priority determination and resource allocation.
  • Clear and impactful communication skills, both verbal and written.
