Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Crawley-based nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children, ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures, and adhering to the Childcare Act 2006 and Health and Safety legislation.

The nursery is committed to providing exceptional standards of care and education, and we are looking for an individual who shares our values and is passionate about working with children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality education and care to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Create a safe, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, using this information to inform future planning and decision-making.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 Child Care Qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience within a day nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance.
  • Ability to work well in a team, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
