Exciting Opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at NonStop Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support, supervision, training, and advice to a caseload of foster carers in the Southampton area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of around 10 foster carers, providing regular support and supervision to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in care.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of foster carers, promoting best practice in child care and welfare.
  • Collaborate with clinical practitioners to ensure a therapeutic and nurturing work environment for children and foster carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children in care.
Requirements:
  • Registered with Social Work England and holding a relevant qualification in social work.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, with a strong track record of supporting and developing foster carers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, children, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to travel to meetings and training events.
