Role Requirements: We are in search of a Civil Registration Specialist who excels in delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to the statutory responsibilities of a Deputy Registrar. This includes the registration of births, stillbirths, deaths, and the verification of marriage and civil partnership notifications. This position is office-based and entails direct interaction with clients.
Ideal Candidate: The successful applicant will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, along with proficient IT and administrative skills. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while applying complex regulations in a sensitive and customer-oriented manner.
Experience: A background in providing services directly to the public is essential. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively and adaptively in a dynamic front-line office environment.
Additional Information: Weekend work may be necessary, and travel to various locations within the borough will require the use of personal transportation, for which mileage reimbursement will be provided. Business use insurance is a prerequisite.
