About the Role

Oxford International College, a prestigious institution within the Nord Anglia Education Group, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our senior leadership team as Deputy Head Pastoral and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

This key role involves promoting the well-being, safety, and personal development of all students, ensuring a supportive and nurturing school environment.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the school's safeguarding and child protection initiatives, collaborating with a wide range of senior and middle leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the school's safeguarding and child protection initiatives
  • Collaborate with senior and middle leaders to promote student well-being and safety
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure a supportive and nurturing school environment
  • Ensure compliance with national and international safeguarding regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in education
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Enhanced DBS check required
