Exciting Opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher

Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 teacher to join our team of exceptional educators. This is an opportunity to work in a Good primary school in Enfield, North London, where you will have the chance to inspire and challenge students in a supportive and inclusive environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a qualified teacher who can design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of Year 1 students. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and organizing schemes of work, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students
  • Plan and organize schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards
  • Assess and evaluate student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
  • Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues on student progress
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
