About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Team Lead to join our Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Support Team in West Kent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to children and young people with emotional and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of clinicians in providing efficient, effective, and comprehensive mental health services to children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary assessments and treatments of children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions, guided self-help, and group work under the Whole School Approach.
  • Provide consultation on MHST cases to Emotional Health Practitioners and Clinical Work Practitioners, promoting the NELFT 5Ps.
  • Contribute to audit and research initiatives.
  • Monitor and guide the team to ensure safety benchmarks are met, adhering to NICE guidelines and Routine Outcome Measures.
  • Support Operational Leads with day-to-day service management, including governance and compliance.
  • Act up in the absence of the Operational Manager for short periods.
Requirements
  • Relevant graduate qualification with a recognized professional body.
  • A minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant academic subject (Psychology, Education, Childhood Development, Social Work, etc.).
  • Substantial Band 6 experience within a CYP Mental Health setting or equivalent.
  • Experience in offering CBT therapeutic interventions within a CYP Mental Health Setting with children and young people with mental health difficulties.
  • Extensive experience of providing clinical and managerial supervision.
