Job Title: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 practitioner to join our client's early years education team. As a Level 2 practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of young children in their nursery setting.

About the Role

This role provides an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families while working collaboratively with a team of educators. You will be responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences for children in line with the early years curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences for children in line with the early years curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for the children
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and stimulating learning environment for children
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery by participating in team meetings, training, and sharing innovative ideas

Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in early years
  • Sound knowledge of child development and early childhood education best practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
