The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Senior Adviser to join our team at Kingston University's Faculty of Engineering, Computing & Environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratories, workshops, and offices across our two campuses are fully compliant with the latest health and safety legislation, prioritizing the well-being of our students and staff.

The role will also involve managing the health and safety requirements for student field trips, ensuring that our students have a safe and enriching experience. You will work closely with our faculty members, staff, and students to promote a culture of health and safety, providing guidance and support to ensure that our facilities and activities meet the highest standards.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced health and safety professional with a strong understanding of the health and safety requirements for engineering-based teaching and research laboratories. A NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent is a requirement for this post, and you will have a willingness to undertake this training on appointment if this qualification is not already held. You will be committed to ongoing professional development and have a passion for promoting health and safety in a higher education setting.
