Capital Works Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our capital works projects, with a strong focus on decarbonisation and alignment with the Sustainable Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of capital works projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Decarbonisation Expertise: Lead initiatives that align with SHDF objectives, including energy efficiency improvements and retrofitting of existing housing stock.
- Bid Management: Contribute to the preparation and review of bids, ensuring alignment with project requirements and funding guidelines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, external contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and address any issues promptly.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Experience: Extensive experience in capital works project management with a strong focus on decarbonisation and SHDF projects.
- Bid Knowledge: Experience with the preparation and assessment of project bids, including understanding how they are structured and evaluated.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualifications in project management, construction, or a related field.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and manage project teams.
