Job Title: Heat Pumps Trainer

Thornhvac Ltd is seeking an experienced Heating Engineer to join our team as a Heat Pumps Trainer. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for conducting training courses and developing training content for our engineers.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Heating Engineer with a passion for training and development. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct training courses 3-4 days a week at our high-class training centre. You will teach engineers on heat pump products, including their components, installation, and servicing. Additionally, you will oversee and develop training content as required.

Requirements:
  • Previous training or assessing experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • Supervising, mentoring, or training young engineers is highly valued.
  • Experience and understanding of air source heat pumps are desirable but not necessary.
  • Boiler engineers with some working knowledge of heat pumps are also encouraged to apply.
  • A full driving licence is required.
The Package:

We offer a competitive basic salary up to approximately c£44k, a hybrid car or car allowance, a company bonus scheme, and excellent company benefits including healthcare and 25 days holiday.

The Location:

The role is based in our training centre near Maidstone in Kent. You will ideally be based within a short commute. Occasional travel and stop-overs may be required, including working away during your initial induction period.
