About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and vision of our medical VR training simulations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with engineers, artists, medical, educational, and UI/UX designers to produce realistic, immersive, and valuable content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all stages of development across engineering, design, and art, ensuring a consistent FVR product.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and establish priorities.
  • Own the vision and goals of the product, mirroring the main user's experience.
  • Work with the Client Success Manager to balance stakeholder priorities with business needs and manage expectations.
  • Develop and nurture a shared understanding of the vision within the development team to avoid misalignment.
  • Assess value and prioritize user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure delivery of maximum value and alignment with the wider business product strategy.
  • Act as the primary information broker, managing lines of communication between stakeholders and the development team.
  • Consult on UX for Instructional Design and align the product's core design with stakeholder requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the development team to produce a value-focused product, avoiding feature creep.
  • Devise and communicate roadmaps, backlog strategies, and prioritization plans to provide clear direction for the team and visibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, raise, track, and mitigate risks to the project and successful completion of sprint goals and releases.
  • Follow and advocate the use of best practices, such as Stages and Gates, coding standards, bug triaging, and Scrum ceremonies.
  • Understand the product's position in the market, including current and future alternatives and competitive products.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner/Producer/Lead Designer/Software Architect.
  • Experience of successful delivery of products under Waterfall, PRINCE2 (Stages and Gates), and Agile frameworks.
  • Well-versed in managing budgets, balancing expectations, and aligning workloads.
  • Well-versed in 3D development pipelines and Unity Engine.
  • Previous experience in VR development, its challenges, and limitations.
  • Degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
  • Deep inclination for research and learning in MedTech.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a great attention to detail.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative thinker's vision.
