About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Community Learning Disability Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist health services to adult service users with learning disabilities, their families, and carers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members
  • Contribute to the development of service policies and procedures
  • Engage in reflective practice and consultation with colleagues
Requirements
  • Postgraduate training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience of working with adult service users with learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
