Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOTAL TECHNOLOGY (ENGINEERING) LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safe and reliable operation of equipment on our Oxford site and its satellites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the maintenance programme for all aspects of production on-site and off-site plants to measured KPI targets.
  • Authorise Permits to Work using knowledge of plant and equipment to ensure safe procedures are used while minimising impact on production.
  • Compile and ensure adherence to local work instructions to ensure tasks are carried out in a safe and effective manner.
  • Report defective equipment and arrange for its repair or replacement.
  • Prepare reports for both Company and the Customer as required.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds or Apprenticeship qualified (Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation).
  • A knowledge of pressure systems and a good understanding of the operation of compressors and related equipment.
  • A driving licence is required.
  • A working knowledge of helium liquefiers and purifiers would be beneficial but not essential.
