Main Responsibilities- Provide individualized, holistic patient care to patients attending the endoscopy unit, assisting with procedures and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate the unit on a regular basis, supervising own team, providing appraisal, teaching, and support.
- Assist with the provision of high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective treatment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with Trust objectives and standards.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audits and quality improvement initiatives, to ensure that patient care is of the highest standard.
- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years' experience in endoscopy-related practice.
- Relevant courses and training in endoscopy procedures and patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality care.
- Knowledge of current and emerging NHS strategy and policy, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
