Job Title: Band 6 Nurse/Paramedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Nurse/Paramedic to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust. As a specialist in community nursing and paramedicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a rapidly changing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring technical excellence, personal touch, and dignity.
  • Undertake complex nursing activities, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Manage patient care, assessing risks, and developing care plans to minimize risks and ensure effective care.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient needs, including risk assessment and cultural sensitivity.
  • Provide health information and health promotion to patients and their families.
  • Work closely with acute trust, GP, nursing, and therapy colleagues to prevent hospital admissions.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration or Paramedic Registered.
  • Bachelor's Degree or working towards.
  • Experience in community nursing and paramedicine, with extensive post-registration experience in acute care.
  • Strong clinical knowledge, assessment skills, and ability to drive.
