Job Title: Senior Quality Manager

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent

Salary: £43,000 per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a Senior Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Quality team, liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality team: Manage the Quality team, ensuring they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Implement quality systems: Develop and implement quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct quality reviews: Conduct regular quality reviews with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop improvement plans: Analyze data and develop improvement plans to address any quality issues or concerns.
  • Lead continuous improvement: Lead and encourage continuous improvement projects and activities within the Quality team.
  • Manage schedules: Manage schedules of both destructive and non-destructive testing.
  • Support new product introduction: Support the Quality elements of new product introduction.
  • Identify training needs: Identify and manage the training needs for the Quality department.

Requirements:

  • Experience in quality management: Proven experience in quality management, including the use of quality tools and techniques such as 8D analysis, 5Y, and Ishikawa.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems: Working knowledge of quality management systems and standards, including PPAP elements such as PFMEA and control plans.
  • Regulated industry experience: Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
