Compensation: Up to £33,112.56 (including overnight shifts)

Work Schedule: 42 hours per week with a rotating shift pattern

North Lakes Children's Services is a reputable local organization specializing in therapeutic residential care and education for boys aged 6-18. Our mission is to enhance the resilience, self-esteem, and skills of the young individuals we support.

We currently have an opportunity for a leadership role at our residential facility. Are you capable of motivating your team? Do you possess a supportive leadership approach? If you meet the qualifications and have experience as a Deputy Manager in a Children's Home, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the challenges faced by young people in care
  • Possessing a relevant qualification such as Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • Exhibiting strong communication and listening abilities
  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow
  • Collaborating effectively within a small team
  • Undergoing an enhanced DBS check, which will be funded by the organization
  • Having experience with Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is advantageous
  • Holding a full, clean UK driving license and being flexible to cover other residential facilities as needed
