Job Title: HR Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and organized HR Assistant to join our team at St Andrew's Hospice. As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the HR Department, ensuring the efficient and effective recruitment and selection of job vacancies and volunteer opportunities across the hospice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR Team, including responding to queries, distributing vacancy schedules, and maintaining departmental files.
  • Undertake pre-employment checks, including Disclosure Scotland checks, as required.
  • Assist with the development and use of IT systems to provide a seamless service throughout the HR Department.
  • Collate and maintain existing job files and archive staff records.
  • Organize interviews and inductions for paid staff and volunteer roles.
  • Data entry onto SMI StaffCare system.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of four Nat 4 qualifications or an SVQ Level 2 in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience working in a recruitment administration/HR or customer-focused role is desirable.
  • Proficient IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
