Russell Taylor Group Ltd is a prominent global testing organization expanding its laboratory capabilities and seeking skilled Organic Analysts to contribute to its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting both routine and specialized analyses (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC) of samples following established protocols.
  • Troubleshooting issues related to GC/HPLC instrumentation, including column replacements.
  • Assisting in the generation of precise and timely sample and quality control data in alignment with client expectations and the company’s quality management system.
  • Upholding ISO 17025 accreditation by adhering to stringent testing standards.
  • Meeting project deadlines while demonstrating commercial awareness in managing workload and prioritization.
  • Supporting maintenance programs for specific analytical instruments and other laboratory equipment utilized by the department.
  • Ensuring that instruments are maintained in a clean and operational state, with routine in-house maintenance procedures kept current.
  • Managing the maintenance, storage, and labeling of sufficient stocks of reagents and standards.
  • Consulting with the Divisional Manager when turnaround times cannot be achieved.

Candidate Profile:
  • Possession of a degree in a relevant scientific field, preferably with a focus on Chemistry.
  • Some familiarity with HPLC, GC/MS, or HPLC during academic studies.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and proficiency in IT.
