About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our client's team in Cranbrook. As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients, providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients
  • Provide ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors
  • Prepare trust accounts, trust self-assessment tax returns, and R185s
  • Prepare IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns
  • Conduct diverse, interesting, and challenging ad hoc planning and advisory work

Requirements:

  • Accountancy or tax qualification (CTA or ACA)
  • Senior level experience or manager looking for next step
  • Ability to explain complex tax areas to clients in straightforward language
  • Flexibility and team player skills
