About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Quality Development Leads to join our Acute Directorate. These newly created roles will focus on driving excellence in care delivery across Adult Mental Health, Crisis Services, and Older People Services.

The positions offer distinct work streams:

  • Quality Improvement Lead: This role will involve upskilling staff to enhance the quality of care provided. You will play a key part in implementing quality improvement projects and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Patient Pathway Lead: This role will focus on ensuring smooth and timely patient flow throughout our services. You will actively engage patients and carers at every stage, promoting their involvement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage autonomous workloads effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with the Matron to identify knowledge gaps and enhance clinical services.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by implementing quality initiatives and best practices.
  • Support staff development through training, mentorship, and guidance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We welcome applications from highly motivated Registered Nurses or Allied Health Professionals with a comprehensive background in mental health. You should possess:

  • At least 3 years of post-registration experience.
  • A strong understanding of acute psychiatry principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
