Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installations on water infrastructure sites across the Sutton and Surrey region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise electrical installations in accordance with Bridges Mechanical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Mechanical Fitters, Mates, and Apprentices.
Requirements:
  • Heavy / process engineering industry experience.
  • Authorisation to Pressure Test (Bridges).
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS.
Desirable:
  • Water industry experience.
  • EUSR.
  • Confined space.
  • IPAF.
  • PASMA.
