Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking a skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our team in the Sutton and Surrey region. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installations and ensuring that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise electrical installations in accordance with Bridges Mechanical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
- Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
- Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
- Coach and mentor Mechanical Fitters, Mates, and Apprentices.
- Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients.
- Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst their peers.
- Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.
- Heavy/process engineering industry experience.
- Authorisation to Pressure Test (Bridges).
- Emergency first aid or First Aider.
- Full UK driving license.
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- Desirable: Water industry experience, EUSR, Confined space, IPAF, PASMA.
