Assistant Conference Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Conference Manager to join our team at Hollins Hall Hotel & Country Club. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of conferences and events, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the Conference and Banqueting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of conferences and events, including setting up audio-visual equipment and coordinating with clients.
  • Supervise and support the events team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure the highest level of presentation of our event rooms, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Run conferences and events, leading the operational team to ensure all runs smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in conference and banqueting, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and event planning software.
