Infrastructure Project Lead

Skanska is a leading project development and construction group, dedicated to making a positive impact on society. We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Project Lead to join our team for a major highways project in Kent.
About the Role:
- Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to ensure Health, Safety, and Wellbeing standards are met across all aspects of the project.
- Guide and support the construction team to achieve project objectives effectively and efficiently.
- Influence the collaborative strategy of the project team, fostering a culture of open communication and shared goals.
- Organize and define the roles and responsibilities within the construction team, ensuring clear accountability and workflow.
- Facilitate seamless coordination and consistency across all project sections, promoting a unified approach to delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote inclusivity within the work environment, valuing diverse perspectives and contributions.
- Manage supply chain relationships and subcontractors effectively, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Set performance targets for the team, motivating them to achieve excellence and drive project success.
- Cultivate an inclusive culture that fosters talent development and empowers individuals to reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in successfully delivering highway projects at a senior level, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
- Extensive knowledge of highway construction methods and partnerships, coupled with a commitment to best practices and innovation.
- A dedication to carbon reduction, social value creation, stakeholder engagement, and diversity, ensuring sustainable and ethical project delivery.
