About the RoleThe Clinical Coding Team Manager will be responsible for managing the clinical coding service and clinical coders, ensuring that all national and internal deadlines are met in a timely manner. This includes undertaking long-term planning for the clinical coding service, clinician engagement to implement coding improvements, and undertaking clinical coding audits and/or delivering training.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Holds the National Clinical Coding Qualification (NCCQ) with Accredited Clinical Coder status.
- Can demonstrate 'standards exceeded' coding accuracy levels as set out in the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT).
- Knowledge of national benchmarking systems relevant to clinical coding.
