Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer Surveyor to join our team at Pioneer Selection Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of crane and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery and equipment as required
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe operation of heavy machinery and equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address any safety concerns or issues
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on the safe operation of heavy machinery and equipment

Requirements:

  • Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering
  • Have hands-on experience with maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge and understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Able to work unsupervised and make decisions on the condition and future use of equipment
  • Able to work at height and in confined spaces
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence customers
