Aftermarket BOM Cost Controller

About the Role
Safran Seats is seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team in the Aerospace industry. As a key member of our Aftermarket Business, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining cost price files to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate and upload cost prices on our ERP system
- Construct cost prices for recommended spares parts list (RSPL) for aircraft entry into service
- Produce robust cost files for aftermarket manufactured parts using in-house systems
- Upload data defined in M3 per aftermarket requirements and ensure data integrity
- Extract and analyze bills of materials (BOMs), verify and check routings
- Coordinate and action activities to maintain data housekeeping
- Confirm treatment costs and availability of tooling
- Liaise with the Engineering team to ensure good housekeeping of BOMs and routes
- Raise internal RFQs to obtain valid cost prices for purchased parts via the Strategic Purchasing team
- Identify risk elements, such as signal codes and tooling costs, to minimize business risk
- Liaise with relevant departments to obtain information for accurate costings
- Analyze the make versus buy option to maximize in-house production capabilities
- Liaise and support the Aftermarket pricing and operations teams
- Liaise with all relevant departments to support the Aftermarket Segment
- Support and participate in relevant project workshops
- Provide coaching and support to members of the team as required
- Flexibility to work between sites
- KPI follow-up and performance improvement
