Job Description

Safran Seats is a leading manufacturer of First and Business Class seating and technology, with a strong focus on innovation, customization, quality, and industrial design. We are seeking a skilled Bill of Material Controller to join our team in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify accuracy and content of engineering design data before entry into the MRP system.
  • Process ECRs, updating item data and bills of material for Baan Company 270.
  • BoM data entry from drawings on Baan 270.
  • BoM data entry from service bulletins on Baan 270.
  • BoM data entry from provisional data onto Baan 270.
  • BoM control processing on Smarteam.
  • BoM control processing of Advance Drawing Change Notices (ADCNs).
  • Compile and maintain engineering colour documents.
  • Coordinate data transfer between the PLM system and the MRP system as required in support of engineering data release.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with Level 3 qualifications (NVQ / BTEC, National certificate / Diploma), or suitable experience acquired by working in an Engineering or Operations role. Previous experience in Engineering data entry and control, and experience in engineering data requirements are essential.
