Position Overview
We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity to join our dedicated team at the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust within the Medical Assessment Unit (MAU). Our unit operates in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, focused on delivering exceptional care and thorough evaluations for patients experiencing a range of medical issues. The MAU is equipped with 20 beds and a specialized 14-chair assessment area, ensuring comprehensive care and prompt evaluations.
The patients we serve are primarily ambulatory, supported by a 24-hour discharge strategy to facilitate their treatment and recovery. Our team addresses a diverse array of medical conditions, catering to various specialties. Key Responsibilities
Our unit receives patients from the Emergency Department, necessitating further assessment and potential admission. Therefore, a comprehensive knowledge base in general medicine is crucial for this position. We offer a thorough Trust induction program, including four specific days dedicated to registered practitioners within your first month of employment.
